In the North American region, Diacetone Alcohol price experienced an uprise during the third quarter of 2021 backed by the scarcity of feedstock acetone and firm demand from downstream industries including Paints and Coatings, Textile, Agrochemicals etc. Moreover, volatility in the crude oil values also supported the pricing trend of DAA in the US market. However, in the last month of the quarter, DAA prices eased due to the lower buying sentiments and lull trade activities as traders were not interested in stocking piles due to year end.
